3 THINGS YOU CAN DO TO STAY MOTIVATED





We like the idea of staying motivated every day and stay up-beat all the time . But in a life that does not involve unicorns and is lived on earth , staying motivated all the time is a dream for everyone . There will be times when you will run out of motivation . When you will not feel that much urge to chase your goal . We all have been there when we set a goal and planned it well but somehow we ended up  not going all the way . It all looks shiny at the start , but when we put in effort for a certain amount of time, our motivation starts to drain and we lose the hunger . So how to keep our motivation tanker full so we drink from it the next time we feel the thirst ? Continue reading to find out .


1. REMIND YOURSELF WHY 





When we set ourselves for a goal , one of the most important things to consider is to answer the question of "why I want to do this ? " . When we do this , our goal become clear and so does the actions leading up to it . Same thing goes with motivation . We have to remind ourselves that why our goal is important for us and why we are working towards it . This can be done by writing your goals and keeping it where you can see it everyday . 


2. Visualize 





This is something most of the artists and sportsmen or sportswomen do . Imagination has the power to motivate us for action . When we visualize , we are kind of reminding ourselves of our goal and also looking in to a desired future . Our thoughts are a powerful tool to achieve our goals . 


3. Take some action 



We say a lot like actions require motivation and without being motivated enough , we can not perform well . I agree with the second part that we can not perform well if we are not motivated . But here's the thing , our actions towards our goals can actually motivate us . A single action towards our desired goal will motivate further actions . But the trick is to make smaller goals towards bigger ones . When your achieve a small goal , the sense of achievement motivates you to go further and to do well on the goal ahead . And by this you can achieve bigger goals as well . 


One more thing I like to add to the above is that you must reward yourself after completing a goal . Reward enhances your experience of achieving something and makes you ready for the goals ahead .
